My coding journey!
Hello!
In this blog I want to share my coding journey and some bits and pieces from my daily life.
I am a 45 year old Truckdriver from Norway.
About one year ago I decided to start to learn to code. Mygoal is to be able to switch career in the future and have the possibility to have more time with my family.
I was thinking first to learn python, but after some research I ended up starting with HTML,CSS and JavaScript.
I started with the https://grasshopper.app/ app from Google. Then I bought several courses on Udemy and started following one of them learning basic HTML and CSS.
Then one day at work listening to a Podcast(Kode.24) I heard a interview with Per Harald Borgen the CEO of https://scrimba.com/dashboard#overview. I got interested and signed up for their Frontend Developer Career Path. I really liked their way of teaching and the platform so I decided to stick to Scrimba to have a curricilum to follow, since you can easilly get lost on the internett as a self thaught developer.
But having a full time job with a lot of overtime and a family with a beatifull wife and 2 kids, days fly away fast.
So my biggest problem is to stay consistent with my learning. Some times it goes too much time between my coding sessions and I forget too much in between.
Now I have been on Scrimba for almsot a year on and of and when they released The Scrimba Bootcamp I figured this is what I need to stay more consistent and accountable.
Also the meaning of this blog and to track my progress along the way .
